Our Process
As a community, we are connected by our core values. We seek to develop happy, curious, caring, and open-minded individuals. We develop and assess the child as a whole through our focus on social-emotional learning, cognitive standards, on the integration of arts, on the culture of design thinking, and on the connection to the outside world beyond the artificial walls of our school. Through all of these connections, multiple skills and competencies are developed to better equip our learners for a world that is constantly changing.
Escola Concept has a “rolling admission” process which means learners may enroll at any time during the school year. While we understand that securing school enrollment is a priority for families, we cannot do so until we have received the complete admissions package with all the steps and documents. Once these steps have been completed and documents have been received a series of actions will be triggered (the process might be adapted according to age group):
- Review of application documents and transcripts
- Assessment with our Guidance Counselor and/or a member of our Leadership Team
- Take the Map Test of English and Math
- Write an essay following the instructions
- Record a video following the instructions
- Payment of first month's tuition
- Schedule your onboarding meeting with the Division Principal, the Nurse, the Nutritionist, and the Educator
We encourage all families to start their Concept experience by scheduling a visit to our campus. Our tours will provide you with a campus overview, insights and live examples of our teaching and learning practices, as well as exposure to our campus and what it means to be part of an innovative learning community in three different locations: São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, and Salvador.
