Middle School: we are designers
The interest and passion of our Middle School learners (Grade 6 through Grade 8) are at the center of their learning journeys. That adds value to their experiences, engaging learners in the development of solutions and prototypes, and showing they can make a difference to society. Contents are presented in 45-minute lesson blocks, that includet include innovative moments such as Ted-Ed for public speaking and Pathways, to develop self-knowledge and service learning.
Escola Concept follows the Brazilian National Curriculum Guidelines in a very relevant and meaningful way. Big areas such as Language, Mathematics, and Sciences are interconnected through Project-Based Learning, Challenge-Based Learning, Phenomenon-Based Learning, also related to Arts, Music, Body & Movement, Digital Fluency, Design Thinking, and Mindfulness experiences.

Although this innovative methodology may seem a little complicated for us, who were used to schools dividing contents into 45-minute lesson blocks, it has been applied successfully around the globe. Concept is supported by an inspiring team of educators and international consultants and has been very proud and happy about the outcomes experienced since the inauguration of its first campuses in 2017.
